What is the hardest part about what you do?
As someone who is self-employed, the hardest part for me is all the paperwork that goes into doing your taxes. Excel spreadsheets, collecting all the receipts and all the fun stuff that goes into filing my taxes every year are the worst. It's a real bonus I married an Accountant.
What is the all-time dream part of your job? The thing you still pinch yourself that you get to do? And, tell the people how often you actually get to do it.
My why has always been "To help people live explosively happy" and I get to do that every day- with every Counselling session and workshop I teach I'm helping teach people the skills and tools needed to live a happier healthier life. I'm so dang proud to do it.
If you could tell your Day 1, starting a biz self one thing what would it be?
Don't stop failing, if you aren't failing at something you aren't learning growing or putting yourself out there. All those fails are what are helping you find exactly where you are supposed to be. You are doing amazing and I love you so much for taking a chance on me.
Someone wants to get into Counsellor. What advice - from an expert - would have saved you a lot of time, sweat, and tears?
Lean into doing the inner work, the more you push back the harder it will be. I never thought becoming a Registered Professional Counsellor would take so much self-discovery, self-acceptance and self-healing to be able to do the job. Take it from me, lean in and do the hard work.
Fun fact about you?
I've run 2 full marathons and over a dozen half marathons. Running helps keep me sane and is the best thing for my mental health.

I LOVE TV & movies. Some favs: Friends, New Girl, HIMYM (How I Met Your Mother), The Mindy Project - all the reruns & Hallmark movies all year round.
