Meet Marshall - From our Advisory Board!

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

I have 18 years of background experience in Construction Design & Management with the last 4 years consisting of Drafting & Design as well as Client Relations Support. More specifically to what I did within those roles, much of my work involved taking on requests from clients, interpreting and advising based on my own expertise, and following through with necessary communications and coordinating to ensure successful project completion.

What is your why? - Why do you create? What do you love about creating?

Creating simple positive change in whatever community I interact with. I do this by continuing to improve and understand myself as a foundational prerequisite for understanding others better. All of which I've expressed through music creation, writing, and being sincere and open-minded. This approach seems to fill my life with adventure and I am all about adventure. My current adventure is as an Undergraduate PSYC Student at U of M.

How did you get started?

I like to say I've recently landed back in Marshall (OG if you will).

This is the "me" I was before the environment and experiences around me shaped me to suit them and created several other versions of me that I still connect with from time to time.

I reside mostly in original Marshall now and this really began with intention about 2 years ago as a result of being very done with habit insanity and some health challenges because of it.

If you could give your 16-year-old self some advice what would it be?

A book. I'd have to write me a book. But it would summarized by respecting the power of my thoughts and being a best friend to my own journey and timeline.

Do you still get scared in your biz?

Every day.

What is the one tech support you couldn't live without?

Digital Calendars.

What is one management support you can't live without?

My nervous system. You'll have to ask me if you want to know why.

How do you feed your creativity?

Proper friends, learning, questioning the rules, and writing new ones occasionally.
