We specialize in custom cakes and homestyle bakes to accommodate any special occasions from birthdays to weddings and everything in between!
What is your why? - Why do you create? What do you love about creating?
I always tell people we are in the business of joy because we love that our desserts and cakes are part of people's milestone occasions and bring a little bit of joy to people's day.
How did you get started?
I have always been in the kitchen baking and being creative and gifting what I made to others to say 'thank you' or 'love you'. As I stared to hone my skills more in the kitchen when it came to cake design, I was beginning to have people ask if they could purchase my work and it just took off from there.
If you could give your 16-year-old self some advice what would it be?
Don't be so hard on yourself. You can do hard things. Give yourself a little more grace and learn how to celebrate the little wins.
Do you still get scared in your biz?
Opening the storefront was the more terrifying decision to date, especially because it fell during the middle of the pandemic. The imposter syndrome and doubt hit incredibly hard but it only ended up making me more prepared to what was to come.
What is the one tech support you couldn't live without?
Email/iCal.
What is one management support you can't live without?
My bulletin/whiteboard/calendar on the walls of my kitchen.
How do you feed your creativity?
Keeping up with the fashion industry and watching all the new shows as they hit each season, nothing inspired me more than fashion design.
